Does anyone know the answer to this? I now have Painter IX, a Painter X installation that doesn't work AND Painter X on my Mac. Can I just toss out Painter IX and the Painter X that doesn't work? I'm half scared to toss any of them out, but it seems crazy to have all three on here.
Any ideas about this? Jeremy? Are you there? Maybe you know since you have Macs! I meant to ask at the class but never got that far!
Thanks for any input....Linda

Hi Linda - Once I loaded Painter X and was happy with it -(meaning that it wasn't crashing on me) then I removed Painter IX. I would backup my Painter Files to an external hard drive then delete the Painter X that doesn't work. Worse case you would have to reinstall Painter X but you would have your Painter Files in another location.
Thanks, Doug! I confess I don't know much about systems...more about programs! What exactly do I back up? The support files or the entire program?
I feel like I should know that answer, but I don't!
You want to back up your support files and any paintings that you have worked on in Painter X. This way, if you have to reinstall Painter X you can still access these files.
